The quote “A riot is the language of the unheard”, by one of the most beautiful human beings ever lived on this planet – Martin Luther King Jr., is the central part of the artwork. It makes aware of the social injustice in all parts of society.
The typographic elements in combination with a colorful and distorted illustration (Care Bear), put the focus on the hope for freedom, equality and peace and not on the call for violence.

German Open (BMX) – Oldenburg

For the first time in history of BMX »Park BMX« is part of the olympic games. I was asked to design the visual identity for one of the biggest BMX events in the country, the German Championship. The clean approach represents important characteristics of the young and subcultural BMX scene. Honesty, equality and sportsmanship are the main keynotes compared to other competitive sports. Apart from a series of posters we designed a book that showcases the history of the sport and introduces the competitors of the German Championship.
