[21:30:45 – LC] So we’ve been working on this typeface for quite some time. Did you have any idea what it was going to be called when we started the project?
[21:30:53 – SM] Actually, no.
[21:31:00 – LC] What are your thoughts about this typeface? What do you feel when you’re looking at it?
[21:31:08 – SM] It’s about mechanics, machines, space ships, engineering, trains, connections, connectivity, masculinity, rhythm, duality, sharpness and geometry.
[21:31:29 – LC] That’s true. This type is so unique. Somehow it’s also about muscles, veins- almost organic in some aspects. But when you reference the space ship, are you referring to the cartoon from my childhood? Albator? Have you heard about him?
[21:31:58 – SM]
Yes exactly, with a unique scar on his face. The scar almost looks like the ink traps within the typeface.
